Buru Rehab have recently completed a 3-year rehabilitation earthworks contract for DEMIRS at the former Ellendale diamond mine site located in the Shire of Derby West Kimberley. These works commenced in May 2023 and were completed in early November 2025, with a recently granted 2-year extension of works (Stage 2) planned to commence January 2025.

The contracted works were focused on making safe previously mined out Pit areas and associated Waste Rock Dumps (WRL, Stockpiles and ROM’s), with works being executed across four project areas – E9, E4, Open Areas, Bore lines.

• Long-term Contract (3 year duration + 2 year extension)
• Delivery of the Buru-Bunuba Indigenous Trainee Program, resulting in 16 trainees achieving 45 Statements of Attainment
