REHABILITATION
Waste Dump RehabBuru Rehab Director Ray Gerrard was instrumental in developing innovative techniques for waste dump rehab during the 1990’s. With his agricultural background, Ray developed the first dozer mounted seeding unit and was instrumental in developing the idea of concave slopes for waste dump rehab.
We partner with our clients to understand their sites and help determine the most appropriate strategy for long term effective rehab. This includes understanding of soil, waste rock characteristics, , geochemistry, material stability, design and constructability.
Exploration Rehab Services
Exploration Rehab
Exploration rehab has unique challenges being out in the bush and attempting to reinstate the natural landscape often on some very difficult terrain.We use GPS and drone technology to ensure the final landform is reinstated in a manner to create non-eroding landscapes which promote establishment of natural vegetation.
Exploration Clearing
Buru equipment is equipped with the latest GPS technology to provide precise, GPS controlled exploration clearing and drill pad establishment in the most remote country.Our team have experience operating across even the steepest terrain of the Hammersley Ranges and remote Pilbara.
REHABILITATION
Corrective RehabilitationWhile corrective rehab is often the most challenging work, it is the Buru speciality. With our unique skill set, we have a history of being called in to fix up failed rehab work. Success is knowing what materials exist at the rehab site and how best to manage these for long term outcomes.
Rehabilitation Consulting
Buru provide rehab consulting services to assist clients in developing the most appropriate rehab plans for their site specific needs. We provide conformance and survey assessment for rehabilitation works including drone photography as well as 3D drone surface survey for assessment of constructed surfaces against design.
