George Todd
George is a traditional owner of the Banjima and Kariyarra lands stretching from Newman through to Tom Price and Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of WA. George has extensive links to Traditional Owner groups throughout Western Australia and it is through these connections that George actively seeks to engage local aboriginal people and businesses in Buru Rehab projects. George is also the director of Toddy’s Plant Hire, which provides wet and dry hire earthworks machinery to clients throughout WA.
Ben Latimore
Ben comes from the Biripi people on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Ben commenced his career in Environmental Engineering in the Hunter Valley region of NSW (Awabakal and Wonnarua Country) providing site based consulting services in erosion control and surface water management for coal mine rehabilitation.
Ben has worked across WA managing a number of large scale, dynamic environmental remediation projects and an indigenous owned industrial services cleaning joint venture operating across multiple sites throughout the Pilbara. Ben has recently come from a Mine Closure consulting role providing supervision of rehabilitation projects in the Gold Fields and Pilbara.
Ray Gerrard
Ray is the former owner of Rally Revegetation, a multi award winning mine rehabilitation business operating for 30 years out of Kalgoorlie in WA. Ray was instrumental in developing innovative solutions for mine rehabilitation in WA with projects spanning from Lake Kepwari through to the Gold Fields and Pilbara.
Since the sale of Rally Revegetation in 2011, Ray has provided rehabilitation project
management and consulting services through Gerrard Consulting, a specialist rehabilitation consultancy based in Bunbury.
